Live music for Johannesburg
Johannesburg has South Africa's largest Jewish community, centered in Glenhazel, Sydenham and the northern suburbs, with a strong shul and school life; Cape Town has a vibrant community too.
Mendy H Band is based in New York and travels worldwide. Every event gets live music from an intimate 8-piece ensemble to a 60-piece orchestra, led by Mendy Hershkowitz, with hand-picked vocalists, our own crew and concert-grade sound. Our musicians have performed alongside nearly every major star in Jewish music.
